Product Description
The Triethanolamine (TEA) Buffer is bifunctional solution that exhibits properties of both alcohols and amines. It is a zwitterionic buffer and can be used as a protein purification reagent in the pH range of 7-8.5 as well as a stationary phase for liquid chromatography. This buffer functions as neutralizing and emulsifying agent, allowing it to neutralize fatty acids and enhance the solubility of oils and other components that are not fully water-soluble.
