The 10% Trehalose solution is an aqueous disaccharide sugar composed of two glucose molecules. Trehalose serves as a source of energy and protection for cells in various organisms and is utilized in numerous research processes, including the preservation and cryopreservation of cultured cells and stabilization of proteins during fermentation procedures. It is also used as an energy source, and is essential for maintaining cell structure and function, particularly under stress conditions. This formulation is prepared in WFI-Quality water, and is ideal for procedures within Bioprocessing.
