Product Description
The 1.2M Sucrose Solution is capable of providing energy to cultured cells through several metabolic pathways, helping to maintain in osmotic balances essential for the survival of the cells during culture processes. Sucrose also supports several other laboratory processes, including fermentation, and as an aqueous solution for density gradient centrifugation for DNA/RNA purification, and for the separation of organelles. This solution is tested for endotoxin.
