Product Description
When casting polyacrylamide protein gels, the Stacking Buffer is used to create the stacking portion of SDS or native gels. Its key features include facilitating the concentration and stacking of sample molecules at the interface between the stacking gel and the resolving gel, ensuring sharp, well-defined bands during electrophoresis. Additionally, the buffer maintains a stable pH, typically around 6.8, protecting analytes from pH fluctuations.
