Sodium Carbonate solution is generally used as a component in carbonate/bicarbonate buffers within the pH range of 9.2-10.8. This solution is used extensively in molecular and cell biology, and biochemistry within specific immunoassay applications and for many protein and antibody conjugation procedures, including enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
