Product Description
The Semi-Dry Blot Transfer Buffer is used in the semi-dry transfer method of Western blotting. This buffer has a lower ionic strength than traditional Wet Transfer Buffers, which allows for a faster transfer with electric current, minimizing the heat generated during the transfer process. This buffer is adjusted to be slightly alkaline, around pH 8.3, promoting efficient protein transfer while preventing denaturation.
