Saponin Cell Permeating Solution (0.5% w/v in PBS)
CAT#: CLA-120
Saponin Cell Permeating Solution is a reagent used to permeabilize membranes, while keeping the membrane structure intact. Membrane permeabilization is a necessary step for antigen detection, dyeing procedures, and various other cellular analyses. During pore formation, Saponin targets cholesterols within the cellular membrane, acting as a more specific permeabilization agent than other comparable detergents.Â
