Product Description
The Saline-Sodium Citrate (SSC) Buffer is a laboratory reagent with applications in molecular biology and clinical diagnostics. With a buffering range between pH 6.0-8.0, this buffer maintains physiological pH, and is particularly useful during nucleic acid hybridization, in Southern and Northern blotting, and DNA microarrays. It can also prevent the drying of agarose gels during vacuum transfer, as well as for use as a storage buffer. This product is formulated at 20X concentration.
