Product Description
The Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) solution is a pH regulation tool for laboratory processes. KOH is a strong base, and dissociates completely in water into Potassium (K+) and Hydroxide ions (OH-). This increases the levels of hydroxide ions in solution, effectively increasing the pH of the solution. Aqueous NaOH can be further diluted to be used as a titrating agent for laboratory procedures involving increasing the pH of reagent types, and manipulate the solubility of some reagents.
