Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) is a versatile buffer solution widely used due to its isotonic and non-toxic nature to cells. With a pH range of 7.0 to 7.4, PBS mimics physiological osmolarity and ion concentrations, making it ideal for applications including protein purification, Western blotting and immunoassays, sample dilution, and as a transport medium. Packaged as a 10X concentration without potassium, this solution can be diluted to support its application.
