Product Description
Nuclease-free water is a reagent in molecular biology laboratories used primarily to prevent or minimize the degradation of nucleic acids during experiments. It is deionized water processed to eliminate DNases and RNases. This water type is ideal for use in applications such as PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, and other enzymatic reactions where the integrity of the nucleic acids must be conserved. This product is treated with diethyl pyrocarbonate, DEPC, to inactivate RNases.
