Product Description
The NP-40 Lysis Buffer is a solubilizing agent used to prepare cell extracts for immunoassays and blotting techniques. As one of the most popular lysis buffers, the NP-40 lysis buffers can support a variety of laboratory workflows. Relying on the non-ionic detergent NP-40 as its primary solubilizing agent, this Lysis buffer is weaker than a RIPA buffer, and can permeabilize cell membranes, partially open the nucleus without fully disrupting it, and lyse mitochondrial membranes.
