Product Description
The Imidazole Buffer is an aromatic heterocyclic diazole with a buffering pH range of 6.2 to 7.8. It holds applications in molecular biology, biochemistry, and proteomics. It can be employed as a component in buffers for horseradish peroxidase assays (HRP assays), as well as a chelator for binding various divalent cations. Additionally, Imidazole aids in the elution of histidine-containing proteins from divalent cation resins, employing immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC).
