The 10mM Histidine Solution is an buffering amino acid reagent with applications in biochemistry and molecular biology. With a pKa value around that of physiological pH, this one-component solution is effective at stabilizing experimental pH, and is also useful in both protein purification in a form of Histidine tags and enzymatic assays, as Histidine plays a role in the active site of many enzymes. The ability of Histidine to purify proteins allow for its prevalence in affinity chromatography, as well as other purification procedures within downstream bioprocessing. This 10mM Histidine solution is formulated with WFI-Quality Water.
