The 10% Formalin (phosphate buffer) comprises of 10% formaldehyde and phosphate buffer in aqueous solution, is a widely used fixative solution to preserve tissues for routine histopathological studies and evaluations. It is also suitable for providing a long-term storage for tissue samples, and provides samples with the ability to withstand staining and processing following fixation .
