Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) with Metal Mix is a balanced salt solution and it functions as an efficient pH regulator, maintaining physiological pH of 7.2 to 7.6, while influencing the osmotic pressure via balanced salt and metal mix content. This buffer supports several applications, including cell culture, immunology, and molecular biology. By adjusting concentrations of phosphate ions and sodium ions, specific buffering capacities can be achieved.
