Product Description
The Acetate Buffer is commonly used to maintain pH within 3.6 and 5.6, making it ideal for processes requiring a stable environment at this pH. Effective in applications including the purification and precipitation of nucleic acids, protein crystallization, and preparing staining solutions for gels after protein gel electrophoresis. At a 3M concentration, this buffer has a strong buffering capacity due to an abundance of acetic acid to acetate ions.
