Product Description
The ACD (Acid Citrate Dextrose)Â comprising of Sodium citrate dihydrate, Citric acid, and dextrose. It also aids in preventing platelet activation and coagulation, making it useful as an anti-coagulant. ACD solution is routinely used in cell processing, blood storage, platelet collection, laboratory tests and blood related research labs. The citrate component binds to calcium in the blood, which prevents clotting, allowing for safe storage and use blood products.
