Product Description
PMSF (Phenylmethylsulphonyl fluoride) is a protease inhibitor shown to inhibit serine proteases such as chymotrypsin, trypsin, thrombin, kallikrein, papain, subtilisin, thrombin and the cysteine protease papain. It does not inhibit metalloproteases, cysteine proteases, or aspartic proteases. PMSF solution can be added to lysis and extraction buffers to support downstream purification procedures.
