The Krebs-Henseleit buffer with HEPES and without Calcium is a balanced salt solution used in cell culture and tissue preservation to maintain physiological pH and osmotic balance, and is formulated at a pH of 7.40 ± 0.15. It contains glucose, magnesium sulfate, potassium phosphate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and HEPES. This buffer is ideal for experiments requiring stable pH in with environments not requiring calcium.
