Product Description
Kasugamycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic isolated from Streptomyces kasugaensis and used in the inhibition of both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Kasugamycin inhibits initiation complex formation on 30S ribosomes by blocking initiator transfer RNA (tRNA) binding to the 30S subunit, thereby inhibiting the protein synthesis. Kasugamycin solution is used in cell culture applications.
