Egg yolk Tellurite Emulsion

COMPOSITION: 30 ml Egg yolk, 64 ml sterile saline and 6 ml of sterile 3.5% potassium tellurite solution/100 ml.

NOTES: Sterile egg yolk tellurite emulsion recommended for the identification of Staphylococcus species.

STORAGE: Store at 2-8 degree Celsius for short term or at -20 degree Celsius for long term storage.
